The trading screen brings together a live chart, your account, and the controls for opening and managing positions. Here's where to find each part and what the main buttons do.

The screen at a glance

Three bands, top to bottom:

  • Top: your account and the market you're looking at.
  • Middle: a live price chart for that market.
  • Bottom: the action buttons. These change depending on whether you have a trade open.

Opening a trade: UP and DOWN

Choose a market, position size, and leverage before selecting a direction:

  • UP opens a long. You profit if the price goes up, and lose if it goes down.
  • DOWN opens a short. You profit if the price goes down, and lose if it goes up.

Bloxwap sends your order to Hyperliquid. Check the resulting position to confirm the fill.

Managing an open position: FLIP and CLOSE

The moment you have a trade open, the two buttons at the bottom change. Now they manage the position you're in:

  • FLIP reverses your position in one tap. If you're long, FLIP closes the long and opens a short in its place, or the reverse. Both the closing and opening portions incur trading fees; a partial fill may not complete the reversal.
  • CLOSE exits the trade and locks in the result. Closing settles the position on Hyperliquid and returns your funds, plus or minus whatever the trade made. That's your realized profit or loss.

Getting around: Markets, Position, and Profile

Three more pieces tie the screen together:

  • Markets is the market picker. Open it to browse and switch between the markets you can trade, including perpetuals tracking crypto, stocks, and commodities. Pick a market to switch its chart and controls into view.
  • Position is your open-position readout. It shows the trade you're in at a glance: its size, your entry price, and your live profit or loss as the market moves. When you're flat, with no trade open, there's nothing to show here.
  • Profile is your account. Your wallet, balance, trade history, and settings all live here. It's also where you add funds and manage how the app behaves.
