Privacy Policy

How Bloxwap handles the limited data collected when you use the Bloxwap interface.

Last updated: May 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information the Bloxwap interface ("Interface") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Bloxwap is a non-custodial front-end for the Hyperliquid protocol; we collect as little as we can to operate the Interface and we never take custody of your assets.

1. Who We Are

For the purposes of applicable data-protection laws (including the GDPR and the UK GDPR), the data controller for the Interface is Bloxwap ("we", "us", "our"). You can reach us at support@bloxwap.com.

2. Information We Collect

The Interface is designed to be wallet-first and to collect as little personal information as possible. We collect:

Wallet and on-chain data

  • Your wallet address when you connect a wallet to the Interface.
  • Public on-chain activity associated with that address (positions, fills, balances), which is permissionlessly available on the Hyperliquid protocol regardless of whether you use the Interface.
  • Network metadata (chain ID, block height) needed to render the Interface correctly.

We do not collect or store your private keys, seed phrases, or signed transaction payloads. Signing happens locally in your wallet.

Interaction data

When you load the Interface, your browser automatically sends:

  • IP address, User-Agent, and referrer URL.
  • Device and browser characteristics (screen size, language, timezone) needed to render the UI correctly.
  • Page-view and click events captured by Google Analytics 4 so we can understand aggregate usage and fix bugs. GA4 sets cookies and may receive your IP address (which Google truncates / anonymizes by default).
  • Edge logs and security telemetry from Cloudflare, used to protect the Interface from abuse and DoS.

Optional account data

If you sign in via an embedded-wallet partner (Privy), that partner may provide us with:

  • An email address, phone number, Twitter / Discord handle, or Farcaster FID, depending on which login method you choose.
  • A user identifier that links your session to the embedded wallet.

We use this only to associate your sessions with the correct wallet and to prevent abuse.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate and secure the Interface (load balancing, abuse prevention, uptime monitoring).
  • Render market data, your positions, and your balances.
  • Improve the Interface (analytics, bug fixing, performance work).
  • Communicate with you about service issues, updates, or support requests.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

We do not sell your personal information.

If you are in the EEA or the UK, the legal bases on which we process your information are:

  • Performance of a contract — to provide the Interface you requested.
  • Legitimate interests — to secure, debug, and improve the Interface, and to prevent abuse, in each case balanced against your rights and freedoms.
  • Consent — for non-essential analytics and marketing cookies, where required.
  • Legal obligation — to comply with sanctions screening, anti-money-laundering rules, and other applicable laws.

5. Sharing and Disclosure

We share information only as follows:

  • Service providers that operate the Interface on our behalf, including Cloudflare (hosting, edge / CDN), Privy (embedded wallet
    • login), WalletConnect (wallet connection), Hyperliquid (the underlying protocol), Google Analytics (analytics), and Farcaster-client integrations. Each service provider receives only the data it needs to perform its function.
  • Legal and safety — when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required to comply with law, respond to a lawful request from a government authority, enforce these terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of users or third parties.
  • Business transfers — if we merge, are acquired, or transfer assets, we may transfer information to the successor as part of that transaction.

6. International Transfers

The Interface is operated globally. Your information may be processed in countries other than the one in which you reside, including the United States and the EU. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses for cross-border transfers.

7. Retention

We keep wallet and interaction data only for as long as necessary to operate the Interface and meet our legal obligations. Aggregate or de-identified analytics data may be retained for longer to inform product decisions.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Delete your information, subject to our legal obligations.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
  • Port your information to another service.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

To exercise these rights, email support@bloxwap.com. Note that some information (including on-chain transactions) is recorded immutably on a public blockchain and cannot be deleted by us — that is a property of the underlying network, not a choice we can override.

9. Cookies and Local Storage

The Interface uses:

  • Strictly necessary browser storage (e.g. wallet connection state, your preferred trading mode, Privy session tokens).
  • Analytics cookies set by Google Analytics 4. You can opt out globally by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by enabling Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control in your browser.

We do not use cross-site advertising or behavioral-tracking cookies.

10. Children

The Interface is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

11. Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including TLS in transit, scoped access controls, and least-privilege infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure; in particular, the custody of your private keys and wallet remains your responsibility.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be flagged in-app or by email when we have a way to reach you. Continued use of the Interface after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

13. Contact

Questions, requests, or complaints about this policy can be sent to support@bloxwap.com.
